Margie Day Baker

DURHAM Ms. Margie Day Baker, 70, of Durham, passed peacefully at her home when she went to be with the Lord, on Monday, September 15, 2014.
Ms. Baker was born in Rougemont to the late Vick and Mattie Hill Day. She retired from the Lions Club Industries in Quality Control. She was a loving mother and grandmother “Nana” who loved to read and garden.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Albright of Durham; grandson, Tyler Albright of Durham; two brothers, Harold Day of Durham and Jackey Day of Rougemont; two sisters, Priscilla Clayton of Durham and Carol Poole of Rougemont
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Linwood Jarrell will officiate. Private entombment will be in Markham Memorial Gardens.
