DURHAM Mrs Adell Johnson Medlin, 91, of Durham, died on Wednesday, February 08, 2012.Mrs. Medlin was born in Franklin County to the late Percy Milton Johnson and Carrie Ada Perry Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Fletchers Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Albert Medlin and grandson, Tim L. Medlin and granddaughter, Marla L. Medlin.She is survived by her two sons, Wayne Medlin and wife, Frances of Durham, Tony Medlin of Baton Rouge, La.; daughter, Joyce Willis and husband, Charles of Durham; two grandsons, Dennis Medlin and Kevin Willis; one granddaughter, Kristie Willis Kerr and 8 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Clarence Parrish will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service, at Hudson Funeral Home.Flowers are acceptable.
