Alease Pollard Stetson

DURHAM- Mrs. Alease Pollard Stetson, 93, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017.
Mrs. Stetson was born in Durham, NC on November 18, 1923. She attended the Durham City Schools. Mrs. Stetson retired from American Tobacco Co. after 38 years of service. Mrs. Stetson was a lifetime member of Angier Avenue Baptist Church and the Estherian Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Kings Daughters.
Mrs. Stetson was very caring, loving, and devoted to her church friends and family. Mrs. Stetson is preceded in death by her husbands Raymond Wilson and Eugene Stetson. Mrs. Stetson is also preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Isla Pollard; sisters, Elizabeth McGhee and Patricia Wilkins; brothers, Harold Pollard, Wallace Pollard, and Knox Pollard.
Mrs. Stetson is survived by her brother Charles Pollard, and loved and adored by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Moody. A visitation will be held an hour prior from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. January 25, 2017 at Hudson Funeral Home.

The family will forever be grateful to the staff at The Regent and The Pavilion at Croasdaile Village for their wonderful care of Mrs. Stetson.
