Aleen Mason Ellis

WAKE- Aleen Ellis, 90, of Cary passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Aleen was a unique woman who lived a unique life. She was Granny to her family and extended family and delighted in her grandkids calling her Fat Granny. She never met strangers, only friends, and her friendship was loyal and true. She loved life and lived it to the fullest extent she possibly could. She encouraged everyone to be thankful for their lives and to see blessings in everything. She was like a pebble in the pond whose ripples extend far beyond what we shall ever know. It is at this time that we find peace in knowing that her legacy will continue not just in her family, but in the many lives she has touched through her nursing home ministry, her everyday comings and goings, and the many miles she would drive earning herself the nickname of Road Runner.
