Alice Compton Williford

ROXBORO- Mrs. Alice Compton Williford, 79, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Williford was born December 2, 1940 to the late Bryan and Ruby Compton in Los Alamitos, CA. She was raised in Nashville, TN. She was a longtime member of Plainview Baptist Church and most recently of East Roxboro Church of God. Mrs. Williford will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Williford is preceded in death by her husband, Hervie Earl Williford; parents, Bryan and Ruby Compton; sister, Vicki Compton.

Mrs. Williford is survived by her daughters, Lisa Neely of Timberlake, NC, Christie James of Greenville, NC; sons, Hervie Bryan Williford (Laura) of Admore, AL and Coy Dwayne Williford (Adely) of Honduras; brother, Roy Compton (Helen) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Magen Kite, Jamie Clay (Sheldon), Karen James, Lilly Williford and Nate Williford.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Stuart Aycock. The public may come by and sign the register and view from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2020.
