Alice “Ann” Byrd Butts

CREEDMOOR- Ms. Alice “Ann” Byrd Butts, 82, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019.
Ms. Butts was born on December 30, 1936 to Woodrow and Lizzie Byrd in Durham, NC. She retired from Swift & Company and attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Alice will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Ms. Butts is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lynwood Butts. She is survived by her son, Steven Butts of Creedmoor, NC; daughter, Debra Gordon of Hillsborough, NC; brother, Charles “Pete” Thomas Byrd of Cary, NC; granddaughter, Mandy Wagner (Luke).
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Dr. Rick Finley. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
