Anne Gunsalus

DURHAM-Ms Anne Kathrine Gunsalus, 73, of 807 Duke St., died on Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Howard G. and Kathrine Ernsberger Gunsalus. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was active in Civil Rights organizations, she was a member of NAACP, member NOW, served on Board of Lincoln Community Hospital also Resident Council of Henderson Towers. She retired from Aluminum Co. of NC as Office Clerk. She is survived by three daughters Susan Martin (William) of Walterboro, S.C., Judy Mack (Charles) of Durham, N.C., Jan Perry (Bruce) of Wilmington, N.C. Two grandsons; Simon Perry, William Martin, three granddaughters; LaTasha Perry (Trannis Brewer), Hanna Perry, Kathy Humbert, and 5 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Taylor Milton will officiate.
