Annie Laura Griffin

Orange Co.- Annie Laura Griffin, 93, of Orange Co. died on Saturday, September 08, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Whitney Broughton Stone and Katie Irene Nelms Stone. Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and also a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George Russell Griffin, two brothers, Arthur Stone and Leon Stone, two sisters, Ruth Jones and Leck Hobgood.She is survived by four sons, Philip C. Tucker and wife Imelda of Durham; Douglas A. Tucker and wife Laura of Durham; Rick Tucker and wife Fran of Hillsborough; and George W. Griffin of Apex; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Forehand will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable or donations of your choice.
