Arlene Davis Cotton

DURHAM Mrs. Arlene Davis Cotton, 91, a former resident of Durham, died on Friday, December 23, 2011.Mrs. Cotton was a native of Chatham County to the late Ransom Davis and Dora Ford Davis. She retired from the American Tobacco Company. She attended the Gospel Center and the Northgate Chapel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Cotton and a son, Michael Cotton. She is survived by daughter, Karen Cotton Morris (Buddy) of Durham; two grandchildren, Jim Bennett (Cathy) and Jeffrey Morris; great-grandson, Ashton Blake Morris.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rod Sharp and Johnny Gordon. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will received friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
