DURHAM Mr. Arthur Lee Page, 98, of Durham, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017.
Mr. Page was born in Durham, the son of the late John Rufus Page and Cora Chappell Page. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. He was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and was a friend to all; was an avid gardener and loved his furry friend “Moonpie”, his favorite cat. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee Boone Page and a great-grandson, Kyle Cooley.
He is survived by his son, Joel Page of Durham; daughter Gayle Mann and husband, Ned of Durham; granddaughter, Susan Marks and husband, David; great-grandchildren, Brandi Cooley, Summer Marks and great-great-grandchild, Madilyn Carroll.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ron Zedick will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy McGee, Chris Colleen, David Marks, Ned Mann and Kevin Green.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 to2 p.m., before the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
