Barbara Layton Poole Barham

Mrs. Barbara Layton Poole Barham, 83, passed away on May 31, 2022.

Barbara was born April 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Hubert Royster and Zula Layton Poole. She was a member of Promised Land Community Church. Mrs. Barham loved reading her bible and enjoyed spending time with her church family. She adored her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barham was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Thomas Barham; and sisters, Edna Ferrell, Marie Ceglia, and Shirley Journigan.

Mrs. Barham is survived by her daughter, Melissa Myers (Eric); granddaughter, Haileigh Myers; and niece, Ella Riggs.

A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022 at Promised Land Community Church located at Granville County Expo Center, 4185 US Hwy. 15, Oxford, NC 27565. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Underwood.
