Barbara Moore

Mrs. Barbara Moore passed away in Hospice care at Mariah Parham Hospital on June 24, 2022 and went to be with our Lord. She was born in 1946 in Marion, NC to the late Kelly and Sybil Crisp.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband James “Jim” W. Moore.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Kelly Rose (Colleen) of Franklinton, NC and Robert “Bobby” Wade Rose (Margie) of Land O’ Lakes, Florida.  Mrs. Moore is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Moore was a member of River Ridge Chapel in Bracey, Virginia. She dearly loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. She was enthusiastic about movies and music, with a particular fondness for the Bee Gees. She was passionate about her Boston Terrier, “Millie Mo” who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Moore spent over 45 years in the automobile industry and retired from Charles Boyd Chevrolet, Henderson in 2013.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28th at Hudson Funeral Home, 211 S. Miami Blvd, Durham, NC. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 3712 Cheek Road, Durham, NC 27704 at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29th.
