DURHAM Mrs. Betty Tice Turner, 62, of 2202 E. Geer Street, entered into eternal life January 12, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, John Turner, Sr.; son John Turner, Jr., granddaughters Courtney & Abigail; daughter Rebekah Turner Maxwell, son-in-law Michael, granddaughter Victoria; son Gabriel Turner, daughter-in-law Angel, grandson Andrew, granddaughter Bella; step-daughter Lisa Turner Berberian, son-in-law Gregg, grandsons Ryan & Sean, granddaughter Lindsay; two brothers, Danny Tice and Bill Tice; two sisters, Peggy Breen and Nancy Windsor.

Mrs. Turner was born in Washington, DC, and had lived in Durham for the past 40 years. She was a member of Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ in Johnson City, TN. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She loved to cook and go to church. She was a devoted, dear friend to so many. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a loyal wife and spent her life doing what she enjoyed most, serving God and living for others. She will be dearly missed by so many but her memory will stay with all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 2:00 pm at Gray Rock United Methodist Church, 4173 Gray Rock Road, Kittrell, NC. 27544. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16th from 7 to 9 pm at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to the Betty Turner Memorial Fund, 2202 E.
