Betty Williams “BJ” Seymore

DURHAM- Mrs. Betty Williams Seymore, 76, passed away on September 19, 2021.

Mrs. Seymore was born September 3, 1945, to the late Talmadge and Betty Williams. Mrs. Seymore was a former member of First Advent Christian Church of Durham. She was employed at Duke University for 20 years. Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Williams and Leray Williams.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Larry W. Seymore; sons, Ronald Seymore (Paige) of Durham, NC, Bradley Seymore of Mebane, NC, and Ronnie Seymore, II of Oxford, NC; daughter, Tammy Seymore Bell (Steve) of Grantsboro, NC; and grandchildren, Kristen Seymore Gonzalez and Heather Seymore.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Donnie Seymore, Steve Bell, Hector Gonzalez, Ronnie Seymore, and Greg Murray.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Chuck Degroat. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
