Billy Woodrow Williams

CREEDMOOR- Mr. Billy Woodrow Williams, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

Mr. Williams was born on December 12, 1936 to Woodrow and Mary Lee Williams in Harnett County, NC. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He served in the United States Navy for 8 years, touring the world during his early years.  He went on to attend King’s College to major in Business Administration and was the proud owner of a successful home building business – Williams Home Builders where he touched many people’s lives.  He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time at the beach with his family.  He was a man of integrity and was a hard-working devoted husband, father and friend to all.    He touched many people’s lives as he lived sacrificially, always willing to lend a hand.  He will be remembered for his gentle, tender-hearted, loving, and kind spirit.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Williford Williams; his parents, Woodrow and Mary Lee Williams; brother, Bobby Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Tonya Pittman Williams; son, Patrick Williams of Franklinton, NC; daughter, Kelley Williams Ung (Hak) of Creedmoor, NC; stepson, Chad Pittman (Nikki) of Wilmington, NC; sister, Joan Williams Barbee (Don) of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, and Jacob Williams, Emily, Nathan, and Henry Ung; step-grandchildren, Alexander, Gemma and Emerson Pittman.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. His son-in-law, Hak Ung, will be officiating.

Hudson Funeral Home will be observing social distancing for visitation as well as the funeral service, and asks everyone in attendance to wear a mask when entering the building.
