Bobby Gene Wilkins

DURHAM Mr. Bobby Gene Wilkins, 80, of Durham, died on Wednesday, December 02, 2015.
Mr. Wilkins was born in Granville County, the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Wilkins and Della Suitt Wilkins. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as a CPA with Grabarek Accounting Firm. He was a member of Tally Ho Baptist Church in Stem. He loved antique John Deer tractors and was an avid Duke fan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Wilkins and sister, Joan Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Delores “Dee” Wilkins; brother, Jimmy Wilkins and wife, Frances of Stem and one sister, Virginia Vaughn of Concord.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 1 p.m. at the Wilkins Family Cemetery on Tump Wilkins Road in Stem. Pallbearers will be Paul Strickland, Steven Strickland, Jay Sikes, Frank Rich, Robbie Rich and Cole Scearce. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hollman, Danny Lloyd and Braxton Lloyd.
The family will receive friends on Saturday immediately following the service at Tally Ho Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home. The family request casual dress.
