DURHAM- Brenda Jackson Johnson, 67, of Durham died on Friday, February 6, 2015. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Odell Jackson and Alma Clark Jackson. She attended Carr United Methodist Church. She graduated from Northern High School in 1966. She retired from GTE after 31 years of service. She was a member of the Timeless Cruizers Car Club and Triangle Shrine Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Johnson, two sons, Robbie Johnson (Chrissa Goss) and Buddy Wayne, one brother, Tim Jackson, one sister, Robin McBroom, two grandchildren, Dereck Johnson and Kelsi Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Clarence Parrish will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Dereck Johnson, Keith Johnson, Dell Jackson, Stephen Phillips, Kobi Roberts and Robert Allen.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home, other times at the home on Hamlin Rd. Flowers are acceptable.
