Brooke Nicole Denning

CREEDMOOR- Brooke Nicole Denning, 21, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at WakeMed. Brooke was born on June 29, 1995, to the proud parents of Jeff and Angie Denning in Durham, NC. She grew up in Creedmoor, NC where she graduated from South Granville High School in 2013. She attended Vance Granville Community College and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Brooke was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Brooke was kind, loving, and had a sweet spirit. She enjoyed keeping up with the latest fashions and loved to shop. She enjoyed the beach and many family trips taken over the years and loved her friends, and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her grandparents. Brooke was excited about her upcoming marriage to her fiancé, Mike Thompson. Brooke was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Ayscue; great grandparents, James and Sadie Ayscue, Dave and Thelma Denning, James and Blanche Morris, and Alton and Fannie Nichols.Brooke is survived by her parents, Jeff and Angie Denning of Creedmoor; brother, Austin Denning; grandparents, Patricia Ayscue of Raleigh, Richard and Priscilla Denning of Wake Forest; fiancé, Mike Thompson of Creedmoor; uncles, Greg Ayscue, and Chris Denning (Laurie); and many special cousins.Pallbearers will be Jon Arnold, Dylan Newton, James Ayscue, Steven Nipper, Chuck Thompson, and Anthony Burgess. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Nipper.Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday March 7, 2017 at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor David Herman. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
