DURHAM- Mrs. Cornell “Lil Bit” Cook, 76, passed away Thursday, August 3. 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Cook was born March 30, 1941 in Durham to the late Eugene and Esther Davis. She was a teacher at Glenn School for 15 years where she retired. Mrs. Cook loved to dance, fish, listen to country music, and go to White Lake. Cornell will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known her.
Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her husband, Elgin Cook; parents, Eugene and Esther Davis; brothers, Alton and Lester Copley.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her son, Jimmy “Taz” Pulliam (Tricia); daughters, Kimberly Allee (David), Melissa Pulliam; stepchildren, Ellen, Paul, Christopher, and Ann; brothers, Floyd Copley (Dottie), Jim Davis (Brandy), Clyde Davis (Babs), Nathan Davis (Linda); grandchildren, Jamie, Brandon, Brooks, Tyler, Hunter, Michael, Spencer, and Cheyann; great-grandson, David, and other loving family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Morris Westbrook. The family will receive friends an hour prior from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home
