Carol Forehand Johnson

Mrs. Carol Forehand Johnson, 82, passed away May 11, 2023.

Carol was born July 10, 1940, in Wayne County to the late JC and Zilpha Pierce Forehand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Johnson and brother, Morris Forehand.

Carol was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and enjoyed attending and fellowshipping with the Prime Timers. She was an Administrative Assistant for Wandel and Goltermann for many years. Carol loved traveling; she had visited 49 out of the 50 states, with plans to visit Nevada in August. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Carol will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Daniel “Danny” W. Lee (Robin); granddaughters, Morgan Lee Stone (Dylan) and Karsen Lee Tutor (Jacob); a great-grandchild on the way; brothers, Thomas Forehand (Kathleen) and Kenneth Forehand (Barbara); sister, Sandra F. Watkins (Donald); and other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 16, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel.
