Carolyn Elliott

Mrs. Carolyn Elliott, 84, passed away on April 10, 2022.

Carolyn was born September 27, 1937 in Durham, NC, a daughter of the late Jessie James and Lantie Thelma Glenn Carrington. Mrs. Elliott was a member of Gorman Baptist Church. Carolyn served as a First Vice President of CCB Bank for many years. She worked with many banking institutions and enjoyed organizing fundraising for them. Above all, Carolyn loved taking care of her family and enjoyed the time spent with them. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband, Glenn E. Elliott; sons, Todd C. Elliott (Sherri) of Timberlake, NC, and Michael W. Grafton (Lori) of Durham, NC; daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Grafton of La Plata, MD; sister, Gladys Carrington of Durham, NC; as well as seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jerry Elliott, Craig Elliott, Ronnie Mayton, Randy Clements, Dwight Beverly, and Leo Heerick.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Shelley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions in Carolyn’s name can be directed to the charity of your choice.
