Carolyn Koon Sparks

PERSON COUNTY-Carolyn Koon Sparks, 76, of Timberlake died on Friday, November 29, 2013. Carolyn was born in Spartanburg, S.C. to the late David Koon and Ethel Owens Koon. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Sparks.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna S. Leathers and husband Larry W. Leathers, son, Phillip B. Sparks and wife Pamela H. Sparks, grandchildren, Bryan Dillehay and wife Robin Dillehay, Adam Sparks and wife Tara Sparks, Leslie S. Taylor and husband Curtis Taylor, Zachary Leathers and Ashley Sharpe, Matthew Dillehay and Chelsea Bennett, Matthew Leathers and Ashley Alexander, three great-grandchildren, Mason Taylor, Knylee Taylor and Harper Sparks, sister, Jean Koon Cooley.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.  at Hudson Funeral  Chapel.  Pastor David Chambers will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service at Hudson Funeral Home.
