Cecil Ashford Wrenn

DURHAM- Cecil Ashford Wrenn, 84, of Durham passed away on November 12, 2016. He was the son of the late Thomas and Laura Wrenn. Cecil was a life-long Duke fan, loved to travel and visited 47 of 48 states in the U.S. Mainland. He was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert “Sonny” Wrenn, grandson, Gregory Wrenn.
He is survived by his children, Louise Dillard (Linwood), Thomas “Tommy” Wrenn (Christine), Bruce Wrenn and Beth Wrenn; sisters, Jewell W. Holloway, Wilma W. Bock; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special love- his dog, Little Girl Wrenn.
Graveside service with be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Father Bill McConville with the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with officiate.
