Charles L. Parrish

CREEDMOOR Mr. Charles “Chuck” Lynn Parrish, 58, of Creedmoor, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
Mr. Parrish was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. He was a member of First Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thurlon Parrish; paternal grandparents, John and Alice Parrish; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Ruby Bailey; brother, Timothy Brett Parrish, nephew, Timothy Brett Parrish, Jr. and niece Mikki Shaun Parrish.
He is survived by his mother, Jewel Bailey Parrish of Creedmoor; brothers, Tommy Parrish (Donna) of Durham and Ken Parrish (Nan) of Butner; sister, Teresa Parrish (Barry Hargis); nieces and nephews, Brittany Nagla, Marissa Parrish, Brandon Parrish and Erica Carpenter (Ken) ; great-niece and nephews. Brooklynn Nagla, Jaeden Parrish, Cameron Parrish, Cayden Parrish and Easton Carpenter; and aunts, uncles and many friends and special aunts, Ida, Elaine, Barbara, Janice.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Denver Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Barry Hargis, Buddy Lucas, Tim Parnell, Jeff Parnell, Jay Smith, Steve Bailey, Rodney Parrish and Jose Gonzalez.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made at St. Jude Children’s Hospital for cancer research at www.stjude.org. or to Duke HomeCare and Hospice for the Hock Pavilion, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, NC 27704.
