DURHAM- Mr. Charles Rex Pennington, 64, of Durham died on Friday, March 15, 2013. He was the son of the late Herman Pennington and Hazel Lantz Pennington. He was a plumber with Brown Brothers Plumbing Co. He was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife Bobbie Jean Pennington, son, Robert G. Pennington (Holly), grandson, Alex Pennington, brother, Joe Pennington (Patricia), nieces: Jackie Keith, Sylvia Wiggs, nephew, Dennis Pridgen.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Rice and Rev. Jonathan Sexton will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Gaither Anderson, Richard Buchanan, Terry Ketner, Derek Ketner, Jim Lynn, Doug Morgan, Ken Ferrell and James Johnson. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
