Christina Dawn Walton

DURHAM- Ms. Christina Dawn Walton, 45, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Christina was born October 30, 1972 to Russell and Ann Walton in Durham, NC. She was previously employed at Sleepy’s and Duke Medical Center as a Data Entry Specialist. Christina loved the beach, all animals, especially her cat Chloe. Christina like unicorns and enjoyed being with her friends. She was outgoing, never met a stranger, and will be deeply missed by everyone she touched.
Christina is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Edith Thompson; paternal grandparents, Milton and Corrine Walton.
Christina is survived by her parents, Russell and Ann Walton; aunt, Jean Hintz (Bill); aunt, Jerry Thompson (Rita); cousins, Holly Heath (Robert), Kayla Thompson, Jeff Walton; longtime boyfriend, Michael Crosby and numerous other loving family members, especially her great aunt Doris Reaves.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Hudson Funeral Home and a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor F. Ron Zedick. Music to be performed by Sherry Holder and Merita Clegg.
