Christopher Randolph Barker

Christopher Randolph Barker, 59, passed away on December 24, 2021, in Granville County.

Mr. Barker was born September 4, 1962, to Paul “Jimmy” Barker, Jr. (Selma) and the late Joyce Mae Barker, in Durham. He loved camping at White Lake, enjoyed working with his hands and was a loving Dad to his son, Christopher. He was of the Baptist faith and lived in this area all of his life.

In addition to his father, Chris is survived by his son; Christopher Keith Barker; brothers, James Paul Barker (Patsy), Tracy Barker (Stephanie), Paul Barker, III, Daniel Barker (Sarah) and William A. Williams (Susan); and sisters, Lois Mae Martine (Pete) and Amy Michelle Roghelia.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Paul Barker, Justin Barker, Daniel Barker, T.J. Barker, William Williams, Harold Stone.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation held an hour prior from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Terry Byrd and Rev. Mike Smith. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
