Curtis Keith Altholz

Curtis Keith Altholz of Chapel Hill, NC, a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and successful entrepreneur, passed away on April 11 2025. He was born on January 8, 1950.

Curt was known for his humor, strong wit, and his warm and generous spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was an amazing negotiator and mentor. His entrepreneurial drive led to a successful career, but his greatest joy came from his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Pomerantz; his sister, Kathie and brother-in-law Jim Wamsley; his sons, Craig, Blake, and Sterne Altholz; his cherished grandchildren, Eli, Ben, Everett, Livvy, Millie, and Shepherd Altholz. Sister-in-law, Fran Pomerantz.

Curt’s memory will be held dear by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
