Curtis R. Ange

Durham- Curtis R. Ange, 85, of  Carteret County passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. He was the son of the late Theodore Haskell Ange and Genora Watkins Ange. Curtis served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for IBM where he retired, he also worked for NC Mutual Wholesale Drugs. Curtis was a member of Community Baptist in Newport, Liberty Baptist Church in Durham and Roxboro Baptist Church in Roxboro. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marea Wilson; son, Theodore Ange; brother, Clifton Ange; sister, Hazel Spence.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Gertrude Beasley Ange; son, Tony Ange (Fiancee Debra Vick); granddaughter, Ally Ange; and other loving family members.

Graveside service will be will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at  Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.  Dr. DuPre Sanders will officiate.
