Daisy Gardner Williams

Daisy Gardner Williams, of Durham, NC, just 76 years old passed away on April 6, 2022 from lung cancer and related complications at Duke Regional Hospital.  She was born July 28, 1945, the daughter of the late Arthur Hobson Gardner and Annie Wilkins Tilley Gardner of Durham. Daisy graduated from Durham High School and lived life for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Daisy is predeceased by her brothers, Henry Hall Tilley Jr. and Wade Holt Tilley.

Daisy focused her career around general healthcare and caregiving after working at the VA hospital in Durham, NC for over 25 years.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Williams and Jeffrey Williams; her nephew Michael Tilley; as well as her extended family and an abundance of friends.  We will all miss her more than words can say.  Every life she touched received the priceless gift of precious memories that will have us smiling forever.

There will be a Celebration of her life held in her honor at Hudson Funeral Home located in Durham, NC, Saturday, April 9th from 6 – 8PM.
