Daniel “Harris” Cash

OXFORD, NC – Mr. Daniel “Harris” Cash, 85, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.
Mr. Cash was born September 19, 1933 to the late Jack and Eula Cash of Durham, NC. He was the Vice President of Wachovia Bank from which he retired. Mr. Cash was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean conflict. Mr. Cash was active in his church and did volunteer work also. Mr. Cash enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
Mr. Cash is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Eula Cash; brothers, Theodore Cash, Holland Cash, Guilford Cash, Jack C. Cash Jr.; sisters, Virginia Lee, Gaynelle Cash, Edna Tilley, and Janie Bell Cash.
Mr. Cash is survived by nephews, Vernon Tilley of Haw River, NC, Gerald Tilley of Person Co. NC, Gil Cash of Alabama; nieces, Cindy Cash of Washington, DC, Cheryl Cash of Washington, DC, Marjorie Cash Lumpkin of Oxford, NC, Jackye Brown of Sanford, NC and several great nieces and great nephews.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Dr. Rick Finley.
