Danny Lee Womble

CREEDMOOR Mr. Danny Lee Womble, 50, of 2809 Rogers Court, died on Friday, March 15, 2013.Danny was born in Durham to the late Bobby Lee Womble and Ann Hall Womble. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 687 in Durham and a lifetime member of the Sudan Temple. He was a UNC fan, loved NASCAR, and cooking. He was proud of his son and daughter serving in the Armed Forces. Danny will be missed by his family and his many loved nieces. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Freeman Womble; son, Joseph Andrew Womble (Jennifer) of Ft. Bragg; daughter, Lindsey Paige Freeman of Creedmoor and sister, LuAnn Bell (Ronnie) of Durham.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Ralph Thompson. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of LuAnn Bell, 5219 Sweet Clover Court in Durham.
