Darlene McCloud Sams

DURHAM, NC – Mrs. Darlene McCloud Sams of Durham, died on Friday, March 25, 2022. She was born May 7, 1949 in Bellaire, OH. A daughter of the late Chet and Helen Angus McCloud.

Darlene was a loving and devoted military wife to her husband of 52 years, Joseph D. Sams Sr., of Durham, NC. She was also the proud mother to Joe (Jennifer) Sams, Jr. of Creedmoor, NC; daughter, Stacey Lynn Bezek of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Charis Sams, Dustin West, Ashley West, and great-grandchildren, Jessie West, and Joseph West.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Helen McCloud; husband, Joseph Sams Sr.; brothers, Donald McCloud and James McCloud.

Surviving; siblings, Shirley (Les) Norman of Bethesda, OH, Nancy McConnell of Bellaire, OH, and Gary (Connie) McCloud of Lewisville, OH;

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham NC.
