Debra Cooley Cash

DURHAM Mrs. Debra Kaye Cooley Cash, 58, of 603 Peyton Drive, died on Saturday, June 20, 2015.

Debra was born in Durham to the late Calvin Leroy “Buck” Cooley and Daisy Bell Stell Cooley. She retired from Duke University as a Special Event Coordinator. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and embroidering. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gregory Cash and brother, Lee Wayne Cooley.

She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Gregory Cash and wife, Karen of Wake Forest, Kevin Gregory Cash of Durham; grandchildren, Leighton Cash and Thomas Cash; niece, Amber Lee Cooley and great-nephew, Jamison Glenn-Lee Snow.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Dr. Gerald Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Person Memorial Cemetery.
