Donald George Hilton

DURHAM Mr. Donald George Hilton, 60, of 1022 Pittard Sears Road, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.Mr. Hilton was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Robey Blair Hilton and Ruby Day Bobbitt. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star. He retired from MCNC of Durham as a welder. He was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Hilton.He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Myrtle Hilton; two sons, Chester Watson of Washington and Ronald Watson Sr. of Pittsboro; one daughter, Tracy Hilton Morgan of Chapel Hill; one brother, Ray Hilton of Durham; one sister, Carolyn McKinney Hilton of Durham and grandchildren, Ivy Morgan, Donald Morgan, Nathan Fox Jr., Ronald Watson Jr., Laura Watson, William Watson, Brandon Watson, Hailey Watson, Christopher Watson and Christina Watson.Entombment with Military Honors will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
