Donald Ray Green

GREENDURHAM Mr. Donald “Ray” Green, 65, of 5712 Couch Mountain Road, died on Thursday, February 10, 2011.Mr. Green was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Dee Tilton Green and Lillian Mae Ragan Green. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and worked for many years as a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Norman Green.He is survived by two brothers, Wayne Green of Spring City, Tenn. and Alton Green (Sue) of Nashville, N. C. and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Greg Allison. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m., before the service at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 5712 Couch Mountain Road. Flowers are acceptable.
