Doris Jane Parrish Weaver

Franklinton, NC- Doris Jane Parrish Weaver, 72, of Franklinton passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. She was the daughter of the late John Will Parrish and Alice Harris Parrish. She came to Franklinton, NC sixteen years ago from Emerald Isle, NC. Doris loved her kids and grandkids. She loved to cook, and took care of all. She was preceded by her husband Linwood Weaver, brothers, Thurlon and Norman Parrish.
She is survived by her sons, J.K. Fletcher (Cindy), Don Fletcher (Bobbi); daughter, Lottie Michelle Shaw (Chris); sisters, Janice Crissman (Dwain), Elaine Smith (Jimmy); seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pete Dawson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Brent Shaw, Max Hunter Boswell Jr., Rodney Parrish, Ricky Clevinger, DJ Fletcher, Dylan Fletcher and Tommy Parrish.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home other times at the home of Michelle Shaw, 1501 Hillside Dr., Franklinton, NC 27525. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
