Doris Jenkins King

DURHAM- Doris Jenkins King, 73, passed  away  on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.  She was  a native and lifelong resident of  Durham, the daughter of the late Arthur E. Jenkins and Roberta Johnson Jenkins. Doris was a homemaker. She was a member of the RTP Community Church. Doris was preceded in death by brothers, Wallace Jenkins and  Paul Jenkins, sister, Gladys Graham.

She is survived by her husband, George Thomas King, Sr.,  son, George Thomas King, Jr. (Leesa) of Hillsborough; daughter, Rhonda Jean King of Creedmoor; brothers, Ed Jenkins and Buddy Jenkins of Durham; John Jenkins of Timberlake; grandchildren, Thomas, Emily and Will King, Ashley Birdsall, Alexandria  Owen, Ronnie Seymore; great-grandchildren, Jamie  and, Jackson Birdsall, Kenny and Cloe Robert.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at RTP Community Church on Ed Cook Rd. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfurneralhome.com.
