Douglas McLean

Mr. Douglas Reed McLean, age 60, passed away on February 15, 2022 at Duke University Hospital.

Douglas was born on November 16, 1961 at Watts Hospital in Durham, NC, to the late Bill and Daphine Rogers McLean. Mr. McLean enjoyed working for Duke for 11 years. He was an avid Duke Blue Devils Fan. Douglas loved being outside working in the yard, cutting the grass, and walking his dog. He enjoyed going out to eat. Douglas loved to be with his family, especially taking his grandson to the park and lakes. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Mr. McLean is survived by his daughter, Tiffany McLean; grandson, David Winkler, Jr; mother of their daughter, Constance; sister, Kriste McLean McCorkle; brothers, Gary McLean and Tony McLean (Angie); many nieces and nephews; and friend, Nick.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Mark James, Clay O’Briant, Gary McLean, Tony McLean, Chris Brame, and Kyle McLean.

A visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Pastor David Wilson. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Flowers are acceptable.
