Dr. Eugene Orringer

Dr. Eugene Orringer, 73, of Chapel Hill, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016. He was the son of the late Morris Orringer and Estelle Weiner Orringer. Dr. Orringer was a Hematologist/Oncologist, most recently acting as Program Director of the School of Medicine MD-PhD program at UNC for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Orringer; daughters, Lisa Wojnovich and husband Scott, Jamie Arnott and husband Roger, Kristy Morgan and husband Nick; sister, Milly Rose and husband Michael; six grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Judea Reform Synagogue.
