Dr. John William Dixon Kay, Sr.

RALEIGH Dr. John William Dixon Kay, Sr., 75, of Raleigh, died on Monday, March 11, 2013.Dr. Kay was born in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, to the late James Martin Kay and Helen Dixon Kay. He was a member of Summit Church in Durham. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Blair Kay; one son, John M. Kay (Jeannie) of Lexington; three daughters, Sarah K. Jordan (Edwin) of Bermuda, Martha K. Pagel (Keith) of Hillsboro, OR and Ruth M. Kay of Durham; three brothers, Jim Kay, David Kay and Ben Kay; one sister, Rachel K. Textor and five granddaughters.Memorial services will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
