Drexel Taylor Howe

CREEDMOOR Mrs. Drexel Taylor Howe, 80, of 2015 Will Suitt Road, died on Monday, March 4, 2013.Mrs. Howe was born in Durham, to the late Carl Henry Taylor and Gladys Gertrude McLean Taylor. She retired from John Umstead Hospital as a switchboard operator. She was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church Northside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Howe.She is survived by her sons, Todd Howe (Ellen) of Creedmoor and Randy Howe (Amy) of Butner; grandchildren, Kirby and Dillon Howe.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiating by Rev. Jack Hollowell. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2015 Will Suitt Road. Flowers are acceptable. The family would like to thank the staff of Hillcrest Convalescent Home for the care of Mrs. Howe.
