Edna Lee Norris Stephenson

DURHAM Mrs. Edna Lee Norris Stephenson, 87, of Durham, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018.Edna was employed at American Tobacco Company for 34 years at various jobs, the last being security. She was a very proficient seamstress, which she used to supplement her income while raising two children alone. Throughout the years she has enjoyed sewing for her entire family.She loved spending time with her family and friends at White Lake and was very influential in the raising of all of her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.Edna’s other talents included crocheting, needlepoint, macramé, cross stitching and making porcelain dolls.Edna leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Connie Friedhoff (Donald) and Robin Stephenson; 3 grandchildren, Lindsay Autry (John), Bryan Friedhoff (LouCinda), Jared Allen (Nicole) and 2 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Allen and Brooks Autry.She was predeceased by her grandson, Patrick Friedhoff.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Donnie Friedhoff, Jared Allen,Brent Mangum, Matt Howell, Bryan Friedhoff and John Autry.Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
