Edward Lee Hunt

DURHAM Mr. Edward Lee Hunt, 75, of Durham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in his home.Edward was born in High Point June 8, 1937. He was one of eight children of Carl Clifton and Bertha Kenley Hunt. Edward married the love of his life, Janelle Ann Holt, September 4, 1954 and they have four daughters. He retired from Allied Pest Company. Edward will be missed by his family and friends. His spirit and laughter will forever be remembered.He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janelle H. Hunt; daughters, Brenda Crittenton, Debra Evans, Linda Weaver and Carolyn Lewter; two brothers, Coy Hunt, Brink Hunt; three sisters, Virginia Hunt, Dorothy Carroll, Shirley Barbee; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Daniel Evans, Sr. and Pastor Ron Watts. Active pallbearers will be Danny Lewter, Shane Evans,Danny Evans, Jr., Brian Register, Hunter Blake, Tommy Crittenton and Michael Escobar.The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
