Eileen O’Neal Murray

DURHAM Ms. Eileen O’Neal Murray, 90, a lifelong resident of Durham, died on Saturday, July 15, 2017.

Ms. Murray was born in West Palm Beach, Fla., the daughter of the late Edgar Fenton O’Neal and Mattie Bell Myrick O’Neal. She worked as a waitress at Tip Top Fish House, Angus Barn, Washington Duke, and was the Banquet Manager for Ramada Inn in Durham. She loved to paint. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Marie Siler; son-in-law, Archie Lee “A.L.” Siler, Jr., and her three sisters, Gertrude, Hazel and Josephine.
She is survived by her grandson, Michael Scott Siler and wife, Katherine; great-grandson, Michael Anthony Siler and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday,July 19, 2017 at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
