Eleanor Goss Sandling

DURHAM Mrs. Eleanor Marie Goss Sandling, 83, of Durham, died on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Mrs. Sandling was born in Creedmoor to the late Robert Ziba Goss and Vera Chappell Goss. She retired after 35 years from Honeywell as a Supervisor. She enjoyed baking and made mouthwatering pound cakes for all occasions. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. Sandling; six sisters, Irene Mann, Evelyn Washington, Ruby Moss, Gladys Goss, Lois Aldridge and Carolyn Mayer.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Foushee and husband, Rusty of Durham, along with several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dan Hill will officiate. Burial will be in the Creedmoor City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service at Hudson Funeral Home.
