Elizabeth Baker Cooke

DURHAM Mrs. Elizabeth Baker Cooke, 80, of Durham, died on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
Mrs. Cooke was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Vernon and Alice Ashworth Baker. She worked for Hardee’s as a Cashier. She was a charter member of Bethel Christian Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph B. Cooke; daughter, Joy Elizabeth Gomez; brothers, Wade and Wilber Baker and her sister, Frances Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Morris Westbrook and Rev. Don Westbrook will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 to 11a.m., before the service at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
