Elizabeth Frances Drydale Wheeler

DURHAM Mrs.Elizabeth Frances Drydale Wheeler, 69, of Durham, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
Mrs. Wheeler was born in Parkchester, NY to the late William Theodore Drydale and Helen Frances Adams Drydale. She served in the U. S. Army for 10 years as a Military Intelligence officer. Beth was stationed for many years in Germany before returning stateside, where she resided for 24 year in El Paso before moving to Durham. She was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jack” Drydale.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Daniel Lee Wheeler; sons, Donald H. Wheeler and Christopher A. Hope; one daughter, Stacy Harris; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her loving cat, Baxter.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel.
