Ethel Wood Clements

DURHAM Mrs. Ethel W. Clements, 88, of 3316 Duke Homestead Road, died at the Hock Pavilion on Monday, June 25, 2012.Mrs. Clements was native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Thomas H. Wood and Beulah Porter Wood. She retired from Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Hillsborough.She is survived by two sons, Thomas Sherron and wife, Polly of Durham and Anthony Clements of Stem; one grandson, Jeff Sherron and wife, Sarah of Durham.A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27703, officiated by Pastor David Smith. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 to 11 at the cemetery.Flowers are acceptable.
