Evelyn Skinner

DURHAM-Mrs. Evelyn Stone Skinner, 78, of 1102 Cabin Creek Rd. died on Friday, May 6, 2011. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Leeorus Stone and Rosalyn Stallings Stone. She retired from BCBS of NC. Mrs. Skinner was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and Cornerstone Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, Doug Skinner, mother-in-law, Gertrude Skinner, Gary and Evonne Shepherd; Michael, Cary and Gracie Shepherd; Mark and April Shepherd; Shannon, Kristy, Logan and Savannah Wilson. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Durham. Dr. Rick Finley will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be David McCotter, Douglas J. McCotter, Michael Shepherd, Mark Shepherd, Jonathan Massey and Chris Watson.
